  This is my answer to the question; How did your production skills develop through this project?  I did it in a camera interview format. 

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

This is the PodCast for the question , h ow does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text? We spoke firstly how we wanted to distribute our product which was through Netflix with reasons behind this mentioned. We also spoke about our product would engage with with audience all mentioned in the PodCast. Myself and Oscar booth spoke on the PodCast we wanted to do it together as we both edited and directed it so decided to answer the question with reasons from the both of us.

Planning for questions.

How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?  [PowerPoint] Our product uses the convention for a thriller due  to the constant  feel of the unknown and not directly understanding what is fully happening. We did this through different  characters  wearing masks.   Uses of Conventions: Created suspense. There was a slow tempo in some areas. Unexpected ending. Close ups. Low angle shot. Clearly defined villain. The villain seems to have more power. Challenges Conventions: It is slower than a normal thriller. Doesn't have a quick feel. Uses of Social Groups: All the villains were male which in modern day society stereotypically men are conventionally played as villains compared to women. Challenges Social Groups: Use of all races. Very inclusive. We tried include all representations. Our villains consisted of different races. We challenged the stereotype that people of colour are normally portra...
