What is Action/Horror.

Action.

To be associated in the genre of action the movie is mainly aimed to be:

  •  Fast paced.
  •  They also may include fight scenes, chase scenes or stunts. 
  •  Mostly have violence in.

This creates a sense of suspense and mystery for the audience whilst watching. 


Action movies may also include:
  • Loud background sound.
  • Fast background sound.
  • Aerial shots.
  • Low angle camera angle.
  • High angle camera angle.
  • The sound is normally amplified as well to create a bigger effect.
  • Normally a fast flow to an action movie.                                                           
Some examples of action movies are:
  • Tenet.
  • Angel Has Fallen.
  • Greyhound.
  • The Forever Purge.
  • The Suicide Squad.

Horror.

To be associated in the genre of action the movie is mainly aimed to be:
  • Creates the feeling of fear.
  • Meant to scare, startle, and shock the audience.
  • Can feature supernatural elements.

Horror films may include incidents of physical violence and psychological terror.

Horror movies may also include:
  • Dark lighting.
  • Sense of fear.
  • Amplified sound.
  • High view angle.
  • Mid view angle.
  • Quiet. - No sound.
  • Creepy background sound.
Some examples of horror movies are:
  • The Conjuring.
  • The Nun.
  • Slender Man.
  • IT.
  • A Quiet Place.
