Final Script. - Thriller.

Connar is on his own holding a pill and talking to himself

 

Connar (mutters to himself): Don’t do it, is it worth it?, what if it goes wrong?

 

Shuts his eyes and gulps it down…

 

Connar (sighs): No going back now eh!

 

Scene changes to Connar and Max sitting in lesson

Connar seems dozy

 

Teacher: right class, lets attest question 3 before the lesson ends, if it is not finished it must be completed for homework.

 

Max: What did you get for Question 3?

 

Connar: What? Questions?

 

Max: Have you not been paying attention for the last 30 minutes?

 

Connar: It’s the last lesson of the day leave me alone!

 

Max goes back to doing his work but notices a transparent pot of pills

 

Max: Connar…Connar

 

Gives him a nudge

 

Connar (jumps up): huh

 

Max holds up box of pills

 

Connar: I only took one and I’m starting to feel dizzy like everything is a haze

 

Sound of bell rings ending the school day

 

Teacher: Class Dismissed!

 

Children jump up in background. Connar stumbles to his feet and walks out lethargically in a slump, max assists him to his boarding room.

 

Max: What were those pills?

 

Connar: I don’t know, I was given them by a suspicious looking man

 

Max: so you don’t know what you have just taken, what are you going to do?

Connar: I’m going to bed and when I wake up it will all be over

 

Max: sounds good, if anything goes wrong call me, I can cover for you and say you were tired to Mr Barker

 

Connar: ok

 

Max leaves, the camera zooms in on Connar sleeping.

Cut to the master drinking a glass of whisky from a full bottle while watching Connar sleep.

The scene is cut to a zoom in of the phone ringing on no caller id. Connar slowly wakes up with red eyes.

 

Unknown Caller: Connar Thompson, age 16, school Aldenham: Head to the chapel or you will regret it!

 

Call ends Connar looking confused takes a while to get up and leaves his room on the way to the chapel

 

Cut to the road and Connar makes a turn to see a figure holding a knife, he turns to run. He is running and looks behind him to see nothing, when he turns back around the figure is directly in front of him. They collide and Connar ends up knocking him out the way and he runs in the opposite direction toward the woods.

 

Cut to Connar in the woods, he lies down breathing heavily and notices he has been stabbed, he reaches for his phone and tries to call the police.

cut to master drinking half filled bottle of whisky.

 

Connar: pick up, pick up!

Phone: the number you have called has not been recognised

 

He looks at his phone and sees the anonymous mask on his background and throws the phone!

The phone is thrown back, so he screams and runs.

 

 

Cut the person in the anonymous mask picking up a phone call

Cut to his superior talking

 

Superior: The master is becoming impatient, the sacrifice must be made!

 

Phone call ends

Cut to the master pouring the last drops of whisky into glass, close up and slow motion is used to suggest death.

Figure appears in front of Connar by the church.

 

Connar: who are you? What do you want?

 

Connar notices his dark red hands and realises it is a demon.

He looks around and sees holy water by the church, he backs up and picks up the bottle and has it behind his back.

The figure runs at him and Connar splashes it with the holy water

 

The demon suffers in pain and falls to the ground

The demons phone rings and Connar picks up

 

Unknown caller: well done you have passed the test set by the master, you will now live a life that is successful and long. Congratulations test subject 218.

 

Cut to the masters glass of whisky empty and dissolve.
