Thriller.

Due to a lot of thinking I have decided to tweak my idea more towards the genre of a Thriller. After watching some thriller films I have decided to make the change of genres to a thriller. The aims of a Thriller is: Create suspense. Create excitement. Should generate excitement, interest and exhilaration. Keeping the audience interested. Put the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions. Thrillers are full of conflict, tension, suspense, unexpected twists and high stakes. Conventions of a Thriller: Clearly defined hero, villain and victim. Here has to stop the villain and save the victim. Power divide between here and villain is large. Examples of Thrillers are: Fight Club (1999). TENET. Bird Box. The Nun. No Time To Die.

What I want to try and include in my opening scene.

Camera Angles. High Angle Shot. Low Angle Shot. Close-ups. Establishing Shot. Speed. Fast Paces. Slow Motion. Sound. Amplified Sound. Diegetic Sound. Non-Diegetic Sound. Sound Effects. Background Music.
